2005 will be recognized in years
to come as the year of the B.O.S.S. January 26, on the campus of Wayne State University three optimisitic and
goal oriented young ladies knew that they contained something special. They were above average in scholastic ability,
physical apperance, moral values and standards, and these young ladies wanted to create an organization above and beyond those
normally presented to young black female college students. That Wednesday night, B.O.S.S. MISSES of AMERICA was created.
A BOSS
is slang terminology for someone who is above and beyond the "Average Joe". They dress distinguishedly,
they speak confidently, the have the respect of their peers and most importantly love and respect themselves.
